Game Show Status: FOX
Even with the writers and actors strikes over, networks seem to be stockpiling game shows and there's a lot of news surrounding them. Here's an update on the status of FOX's game shows as we head into 2024. Note: Shows that haven't been officially renewed but are casting are not certain to return. However, most casting notices do include tape dates and sometimes even finish taping before getting a renewal announcement. Beat Shazam- Completed airing its 12 episode sixth season this past summer. While not officially renewed, the show is casting for a seventh season. Filming will once again take place in Ireland and Jaime and Corinne Fox are expected to return. Don't Forget the Lyrics: Completed airing its 12 episode second season (fourth overall) this past summer. Much like Beat Shazam, the show is casting with filming expected to take place in Ireland.
