First Look at NBC's Weakest Link

After announcing a new premiere date last week, NBC has finally dropped an extended preview of their rebooted game show Weakest Link. If you weren't excited before, then this should surely get you excited. For the first time, the show has received a much updated set and have blended in the lack of audience very nicely. (Although the show doesn't really need an audience). Jane Lynch looks like a perfect fit to host this show plus the way she emphasizes the show's signature phrase is perfect. Take a look below. 

NBC also promised some twists along the way and sources have indicated what those twists will be:

• As you can see from the preview, the money ladder for each round will be different. The final round will apparently be worth $500,000 with a top prize of $1 million.
• We don't have fully details yet but we are told that the Strongest Link in each round will get immunity and be safe from elimination. How that works though is still unknown
• Discussions about performance and who to eliminate will take place BEFORE the vote. 

The show is just two weeks away from its Tuesday, September 29th premiere. NBC has 13 episodes in the can for the show, but clearly NBC is hoping this will have a longer life than the original American version 17 years ago.
