ABC wins quiet Thursday night
On a night full of repeats, ABC's Thursday game shows cruised to another easy win. Typically, ratings to tend to fall a bit as the summer goes on but two of ABC's shows actually climbed a bit in their demos.
Holey Moley held steady at 0.5 in the 18-49 demo with 2.95 million viewers. Don't was up one tenth, also to a 0.5 with a 2.47 million viewers. To Tell the Truth won the night, climbing to a 0.6 (up 0.1 from last week), with a 2.96 million viewers.
All of ABCs shows beat FOX, which aired Thursday night baseball. The ratings for baseball were an 0.4 with about 1.5 million viewers.
Elsewhere, NBC aired a repeat of Ellen's Game of Games, which held up nicely at an 0.4 with 2.5 million viewers.
Overall, ABCs game shows should all be fine. While the ratings have come down a bit from earlier in the summer, the ratings are still good enough for summer shows. Seems like To Tell the Truth has found a little niche market as well. It's holding up well in that 9pm timeslot.
